Football Supporters Supporting Football or fssf.co.uk was formed by a guy that hated seeing his local club struggle financially (Southend United) and he doesn’t even support them. You will see why he wants all clubs to survive and avoid the points deductions that are being given out needlessly, without thinking about the people that follow their teams. This could be a supporter who goes to every game, to someone like the author who likes his local team, but not enough to go to matches (Don’t worry, he’s a Season Ticket Holder at Tottenham Hotspur for over twenty years). There are plenty of passionate supporters that look for their clubs results and they too think about seasons past. Everyone can participate to avoid another demise, like Bury FC.
We aim to be a bit different how we use funds from the Premier League teams, as we will pass a healthy amount to the lower league teams each month We will also ask the supporters clubs to decide what is needed at their club.
With The Premier League, we will keep 25% for the Premier League club, but increase the Pool funds to 35%.

How will we raise funds?
We will ask each supporters club on the social media sites, to get their members to set up a £5 donation each month to fssf.co.uk and with this we will be able, to help all clubs, their communities and put those people donating into a monthly Thank You Prize Draw, where they can win lots of things related to the club they are supporting. We will also have a Quarterly Super Draw and a Christmas Draw (details we are working on).
What will you do with the funds raised?
Of the funds raised, 50% goes to the Supporters Club and if your club is in the Premier League 25% goes to the Supporters Club. 20% goes into Community projects around the club and these will be identified by the Supporters Club. 10% goes into a Pool and this will be 35% if your club is in the Premier League. 5% will be held for Thank You Prize Draws. Of the remaining 15%, this will go into admin, to keep the sites going and as we get bigger we will need somewhere to work from and need staff. We will also advertise what we do and how we can support the many teams that need our help. If we encouraged 1% of all teams Social Media supporters to set up a DDr donation, we would be able to pay each team, League 1, League 2, Conference League, WSL and Cymru Premier League, just over £1m each.
How far down the football pyramid will you go?
We will support The Premier League, although they will give up 25% of funds raised and pass this over to a General pool for distribution in to League 1 , League 2, Conference League, WSL and Cymru Premier League. We will also support The Championship.
Can I chose my favourite club?
Yes you can. When you set up your DDr we will ask you who you support. You can also set up as many DDrs as you like.
Will you support the Ladies teams?
Yes we will support the WSL in the same way as we do with all the leagues we support. So if we managed to get funding from 1% of all teams supporters, we could pay the WSL teams, just over £1m each.
Who else will you support?
We will also support all the Conference League teams and all 12 teams in the Welsh Cymru Premier League.
What will you do for the local communities?
When we raise funds for the local communities for each club, we will ask the Suppoters Clubs to identify projects that need supporting. It could be that a community club needs some financial support or there is a need for local Food Banks to supply food to local residents.
